Thank you very much, this helped me to solve the problem. @fantasmo: Iphone cannot play Video’s like Youtube Video’s, so this is a very nice alternative.

Of course you couldn’t register domains in 1977 since Tim Berners-Lee made his first proposal to create the WWW in 1989. The domain naboo.com was registered in 1997, two years before the prequel of Episode I.

What use was it 1977 to register domains for star wars, when only in the very end of the 80ies the internet could be used by anybody?

Hi, one of my Amazon Associates profiles is speakspanishlikeagringo-20 … I know it is long, and the domain name is long, but I like it. However, your plugin doesn’t play nice with long associate IDs, and I can only put “speakspanishlikeagri” … any update on that would be great! My only workaround is to great another ID that is shorter, and clutter my associates ID list even further. Thanks for an otherwise great plugin!

Martin, hello:

Thank you for you plugin and the efforts you invest to make it work for so many users. I, too, need help.

The plugin worked fine until my latest upgrade. Presently, the plugin puts nothing on the page - nada. I turned on the debug mode - to no avail. There is nothing there. There is an empty file in the cache directory:

amtap-aws-items-for-post--in-content-us.html

On December 22, the file was

amtap-aws-items-for-post-9-in-content-us.html

The amtap-aws-key-verification.txt file is there with the content "true".

Anything else I can do.

My Dashboard does not alert to any upgrade so that I assume I have the latest version of the blog and the plugins.

It said ‘empty’ when I opened it and then I edited it to ‘true’. Now it works! Thanks a lot for your prompt reply! I could not manage to realize this by myself. Have a nice day!

@Sun, could you please check if the content of /wp-content/cache/amtap-aws-key-verification.txt is true? Amazon has deprecated methods in their new API, users have been reporting the key validation failed for that reason.

Hello Martin Kliehm, At first I would like to thank you for the great plugin!

Can anybody help me please, I'm so desparate and can't find any direction what's that about.... I've been using the plugin for a while but today I decided to change the theme. Everything was ok, but then suddenly the plugin stopped working and I got the message on the admin panel "No connection to Amazon Web Services. Please retry later." What does it mean? Nothing appears on the posts now. Is this just waiting game?

I've been waiting for an hour now or so and got this working correctly so far.
